Frosted Diary Graphite & Lipstick-Red Café Register

/frostedDiaryGraphiteLipstickredCafRegister

Design philosophy: a close-family sans-serif exploration of the black-leather diary brief, using frost-white pages, pale graphite-grey panels, blue-black ink, nickel hairlines, golden yellow review stars, and a lacquered lipstick-red accent only for CTAs, active nav, and one proof line. Core beliefs: elegance comes from restraint, alignment, readable proof, and image sequencing. Strict rules: slim light navbar, image-led hero, hero heading capped at 3xl, immediate star rating, centered review-count statement, practical three-column block, table-like menu rows, and plain location details. Typography philosophy: pair Founders Grotesk-style, Work Sans, or IBM Plex Sans headings with Source Sans 3, Karla, or Assistant body; avoid default Inter-only sameness. Spacing: compact 2015 builder rhythm, aligned gutters, consistent row height. Motion: fades and underline hovers only. Imagery: black leather, receipts, rainlit glass, red lipstick trace. Refuses badges, avatars, beige, icons. Common mistakes: corporate grey, candy red, oversized type.
