Porcelain Minimal Tea Blocks & Laurel-Green Marginal Notes
/porcelainMinimalTeaBlocksLaurelgreenMarginalNotes
Design philosophy: a visually close but fresher exploration of the light afternoon-tea direction: MVP.css white backgrounds, light navigation, charcoal typography, clean grey rules, golden yellow stars, and a quiet laurel-green accent used like handwritten marginal notes. Core beliefs: restraint, consistency, maintainability, and typography should make simple builder blocks feel intentional. Strict rules: no coloured section backgrounds, no cards, no icons, rectangular CTAs, immediate hero photograph, one-column ledgers, practical footer, all colours constrained to MVP.css variables. Typography philosophy: EB Garamond headings paired with Charter-style serif body, or Spectral headings with Noto Serif body; 17–18px body, modest headings, strong line-height. Spacing philosophy: 2014–2018 website-builder rhythm with repeated gutters and visible section starts. Motion: gentle image settling only. Imagery: green tea tins, china saucers, glass cake domes, soft daylight. Refuses beige warmth, botanical clichés, luxury emptiness, gradients. Common mistakes: spa-green softness, AI tea illustrations, tiny captions, overly polished editorial spacing.
