Porcelain Receipt Sheet & Damson Marginal Ink

Design philosophy: a refined light MVP.css system that feels owner-built in 2015, then quietly improved by a typographer: white page fields, light navbar, graphite text, pale grey rules, golden yellow review stars, and a damson accent from MVP.css colors used only for CTAs and inline links. Core beliefs: readability, maintainability, consistent blocks, and excellent serif rhythm create elegance. Strict rules: no coloured section backgrounds, no cards, no icons, no badges, flat rectangular buttons, centered hero capped at 3xl, immediate photograph, one-column menu ledger. Typography philosophy: Sorts Mill Goudy headings with Crimson Text body, or Vollkorn headings with Source Serif 4 body; 17–18px body, generous line-height. Spacing philosophy: compact 2014–2018 builder cadence with visible section joins. Motion: soft fades only. Imagery: china cups, folded napkins, silver spoons, rainlit windows. Refuses beige, gradients, twee illustrations. Common mistakes: tiny serif copy, generic purple buttons, over-romantic tea-room styling.
