# Ivory App Ledger Minimalism

A design language for refined, highly curated, and intimately scaled portfolio interfaces.

## Philosophy

> "A portfolio is not a billboard; it is a meticulously kept ledger of craft."

This system creates interfaces that feel like a beautifully maintained, physical product ledger resting on a clean desk. It is warm, tactile, and highly constrained. Rather than overwhelming the user with edge-to-edge grids or decorative palettes, it forces a narrow, centered viewing column. The design relies on inviting typography, deep-graphite interactions, and expansive border radii to create a sense of polished, approachable premiumness.

### Core Beliefs

1. **Restraint through confinement** — A strict, narrow, and vertically centered layout forces singular focus. Browsing should feel like reading an exclusive index.
2. **Warmth in the whites** — Stark digital white is rejected in favor of warm ivory and pale stone, reducing eye strain and evoking premium paper.
3. **The image is the only color** — The interface itself remains entirely devoid of color. The only vibrant hues come from polished product screenshots, making the work the undisputed hero.
4. **Bold anchors, crisp details** — Heavy, confident hero typography anchors the page, while ultra-crisp, legible body fonts deliver the narrative.
5. **Tactile grounding** — Pure black drop shadows are replaced by "contact shadows"—soft, low-opacity, tight diffusion shadows that make cards feel heavy and grounded on the canvas.

* **Narrow Column Only** — The core content wrapper must never exceed an ultra-constrained width (e.g., max-width 640px). No sprawling full-bleed masonry.
