# Midnight Blueprint Design System

A design language for premium, dark-themed cinematic and photographic interfaces.

## Philosophy

> "Zero visual noise, infinite clarity."

This system creates interfaces that feel like a high-end digital darkroom or a private, architectural gallery—deep, immersive, and visually immaculate. The design relies on true black canvases, delicate white translucency, and precise emissive glows to let the underlying content (photography and memories) serve as the primary source of light and color.

### Core Beliefs

1. **Darkness as a pedestal** — True black backgrounds eliminate boundaries and framing, allowing vibrant photography to command absolute attention.
2. **Emissive rather than painted** — Interactivity is communicated through light (glowing shadows, radial gradients) rather than flat blocks of color.
3. **Glass and wireframe structure** — Containment is defined by ultra-thin translucent borders (`white/5`) and subtle background blurs, never solid grays.
4. **Cinematic reveals** — Elements do not simply appear; they unblur, scale, and fade into existence, mimicking camera focus.
5. **Text as physical material** — Primary headings use metallic gradients (zinc-100 to zinc-400) to feel grounded and physical against the deep void.

### Strict Rules

* **No Emojis** — True purists communicate via immaculate typography and the raw emotional weight of the photography itself.
* **True Black Foundation** — The core background must be `#000000`. Dark grays are reserved exclusively for elevated containers.
* **Translucent Borders Only** — Borders must be defined by white opacity (`white/5` or `white/10`), ensuring they seamlessly adapt to any background light bleed.
* **No Harsh Shadows** — Drop shadows must be deeply feathered and colored with the accent to create a "glow", never a muddy black shadow.
