# Sticker Brutalist Pop Grid Design System

A design language for high-energy, tactile, and highly structured neo-brutal interfaces.

## Philosophy

> "Chaos is only fun when it lives inside a cage."

This system evolves the wild energy of Gen-Z neo-brutalism into a mature, disciplined aesthetic. It creates interfaces that feel like a premium sticker book or a freshly die-cut vinyl record sleeve—tactile, chunky, and unapologetically bold. The design relies on high-tension structural grids paired with spring-loaded, overlapping elements to create an environment that is deeply engaging but never overwhelming.

### Core Beliefs

1. **Hierarchy through sheer weight** — Oversized rounded-grotesk typography and thick black outlines define prominence, not subtle shading.
2. **The grid is the law** — To allow for rotating cards, overlapping stickers, and wild pop colors, the underlying modular grid must be mathematically flawless.
3. **Tactile over digital** — Elements shouldn't feel like pixels; they should feel like physical stickers, thick cardstock, and stamped ink. 
4. **Color is a spotlight** — The warm paper-white background does the heavy lifting, allowing highly saturated bubblegum, cobalt, and taxi yellow to direct user action.
5. **Lowercase intimacy** — Playful weight contrast and lowercase-friendly microcopy bridge the gap between aggressive structural borders and approachable UX.

### Strict Rules

* **No Blurred Shadows** — Drop shadows must be solid, hard-edged, and offset. Soft gradients or blurs are strictly forbidden.
* **Thick Borders Only** — 2–3px pure black borders form the skeleton of the entire UI. Hairlines do not exist here.
* **Rounded Everything** — Corners must be heavily radiused. No sharp geometric right angles on primary components.
* **No Muddy Colors** — Accents must be at maximum opacity and saturation. No transparent color overlays.
